Elder Dean

  Another CRAZY BUSY week. We had transfers which is always fun. We basically were only able to work in our area from 5-9pm everyday this week. I just love the work. Missionary work is so fun and spirit filled.  This week I had the opportunity to state what I know to be true boldly a lot. We have met quite a few people who are very rude or questioned everything the church stands for. We had one lady invite us in as we knocked on her door and then she just starting spitting so random crop and totally being disrespectful. So we just stated what we know and got out of there. She wasn't even trying to let us go.  We had one guy who has studied a lot of religion and he let us in and we had a conversation about Jesus Christ and His restored church and the Book of Mormon and he just wasn't open. But his brother who was sitting in the living room we didn't think was listening then he just started asking questions. The awesome part about that was by the end the brother said "yo...

  This week was great super busy but super fun!! We have these 2 girls that we are teaching and their family has been thru a lot of hard things. They have had loved ones die just right in front of them the girls have been sexually abused and the dad has been thru some serious drug addiction. But it's so cool because I've been trying to teach them for a while but they would never give us the tom of day so when I wasn't covering the Thanksgiving stake for a month and a half the missionaries were still trying but it was still tough. So when I got the Thanksgiving stake back we gave them a few weeks break and then at the beginning of this week we were in their apartment complex and they came to my mind out of the blue. Which was a prompting from the spirit. So we followed it knocked on their door they let us in we had a great conversation. And we've already had a great lesson with them and they went to church yesterday. But it's so cool because now the timing is finally...

 Another FIRE week. It's been really fun to be putting in extra work in the area.  One of the best things that happened this week was while I was on an exchange with another Elder in his area. And they've been teaching this one guy for a while. We knocked on his door to invite him to come to church the next day and he just opens up about some stiff that he's been going thru that are really hard and he might be kicked out of his house and have to live outta his truck. And I was thinking man what can we do to help him. And the thought to offer him a priesthood blessing (a special type of blessing used by the power of God by a man who holds the priesthood. Which is the authority from God to do certain things such as give these special blessings.) He said sure so the Elder in that area gave the blessing and as he was giving the blessing the Spirit was so strong it was almost tangible. It was really special.  This week has been great!!! Because there wasn't really any big meetings that we had to prepare for or have we got to work in our area A LOT more than usual!!! IT WAS THE BEST!! I am still in the same area (I have been here about 10 months.) I am just with Elder Barney now because Elder Kempton went home. It's been fun!! Sorry it's been a minute since my last email We have found quite a lot of people to start teaching. God is so good. It just seems like I am coming closer to Him. We had a AWESOME lesson with a lady named Jordan who is sooo close she just has to pick a date to get married and then she will get baptized that day or shortly after!! It's freaking crazy tho because her boyfriend is the one who was helping NBA YOUNGBOY. He helped out a log with organizing a music video and is even in some of them. He is too funny we just be cracking up laughing. He told us NBA is meeting with missionaries and is frfr liking it. SO EVERYONE HAS TO MEET WITH THE MISSIONARIES N...
