Wow time has absolutely flown by. I have loved this time to serve the Lord and others. BUT I know this isn't the end. I will not stop after my mission. Maybe I'll have other things to focus on but my purpose here will never change. I fly home this Wednesday. I am so grateful for everything I've learned and everyone I've met but most importantly I am thankful that I was able to strengthen my connection with Jesus Christ and my conviction to follow Him. He has been there EVERY step of the way for me and will continue to do so. I KNOW He lives. I KNOW that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Christ's church and He leads it. I KNOW that there is absolute truth and it is our job to find it, God wants us to find it and we can ask Him in prayer and He will lead us. I KNOW the Book of Mormon is God's words and we can read it and learn additional insights on Jesus Christ. I love you all❤️ Alma 36:24-25 "Yea, and from that time even until now, I have...

So I will be getting transfered for my last 3 weeks of the mission. I am moving upto American Fork. I am going to be ZL again in a trio. Crazy. I thought I was going to finish my mission here in Orem.  We have given quite a few Priesthood Blessimgs this week. Some in hospitals some in parks and some in homes. One is a recent converts daughter started to have troubles breathing and it got really bad so they rushed her to the Hospital and the recent convert wanted us and a member to come give her and her daughter a blessing.  As well we met a few guys with heavy addictions. They are all members but they are struggling really bad. We took some cigarettes from one of them to start them on their journey. I know that if any of us trusts in Christ fully and take the necessary steps, we can overcome anything. We started teaching a family and we had the first lesson this week and they are so lit. They even came to church.  We are hoping to set a date for baptism for a lot o...

Baptisms, temple trips, FUNNNN

Image
This week flew by. Kylee we have been teaching got baptized this past week. Mega miracle how we found her. Met her mom at mad dogz bike shop. We git her address. We came back like 5 times. And then she finally allowed us to come. And now she's baptized it was lit.  During it Elder Gardiner and I were giving a little message on the Restoration and I quoted the First Vision and the spirit was sooooo strong. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet called of God. I know the Book of Mormon is God's scripture. I know Jesus Christ is our Savior. The Holy Spirit has touched my life and that is how I know these things to be true.  I've now been to the Saratoga Springs Temple open house like 20 plus times. It's been so amazing. The temple is the house of the Lord because I feel the spirit so strong inside. It's so peaceful and calm.  One family we brought the mom walked into the Celestial room (a room in the temple to symbolize heaven and being in God's presence) and she ...

Busy week

This week has been mega busy but it's been so good.  A lesson that stood out is a guy named Ricardo. E. Tacchi and I found him a few weeks ago. We were teaching him 2 days ago and teaching about the Book of Mormon and it was so awesome because we were telling personal experiences and the spirit was so strong. We were teaching how it witnesses of Christ. We of course asked if he came to know it is true if he'd get baptized and he said yes!! I got mega sick this week but still pushed through and I'm so thankful God gave me strength to do so. I couldn't have done it any other way. I love this work and tryna end off strong so I was a lil mad that I got sick. But God gave me just enough strength to get through!! Last Sunday we were at church and we were running late to another ward Inna different building so we were speed walking thru the chapel. And the ward in the current chapel hadn't started yet but then one guy just stuck out to me so we went and talked to him. Co...

This week was GREAT!!! I'm ngl I forgot everything that happened this week.  We went to the temple open house 2 times in one day. First we went with some girls we are teaching and their grandparents. It was so funny cause they were like running thru the whole thing haha. Then we went with Johnny and his wife and son!!! Johnny is someone I taught and personally baptized last year! He was the first person I personally baptized. It was so good to see him. He was going thru a hard thing and this really Gave him strength. I was onna exchange with my DL early in the week and he got in a bad bike accident where he snapped him collar bone. He is the most energetic person I've ever met it's tiring just watching him haha. So after he got in the crash we called our mission president and he said he'd be 35 minutes before he could pick us up. So we didn't wanna just sit there so we walked around and a family let us on we taught them and found out they have a son who isn't b...

I don't have any time at all haha. I never have time. We have been teaching A LOT of lessons which has been great. We have set a date for baptism for a girl we have been teaching she's super fun to teach.  We met a guy who is going to AA and we have lessons In the parking lot before he goes into his class. There is a whole group that we are tight with now because one time some members gave us a FAT TON of snacks so we brought it over and shared with all of them. They invited us in!!! Haha  A guy we have been teaching (Ren) wants to get baptized Inna river kinda lit haha. He hasn't chosen a date yet but we are still working with him. Elder Barney came with me onna exchange and it was so fun to be back with him for a night. Love yall. 2 Nephi 28:28 is kinda barz read it

Bruhhhhhh time is flying way too fast I hate it. I don't know how it's already May 15. This week was solid.  Someone in my last area got baptized so I got to go back up to Lehi and it was good to see them.  A miracle we saw... we had a meeting with some leadership and normally it ends at 9pm but it ended 15 minutes early. Normally we go home at 9pm ish. So we decided to knock a few more doors before we went home and one of them we talked to a MINUTE ago while she was in her car lol. But she let us in and we ended up teaching her and her daughter and we are going back in 2 days!!! They are pretty interested in learning more!  Had mission president interviews WHICH are ALWAYS BALLER. But first thing he said was, well this is your last one before your departing interview. 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦 Crazy.  We are probably going to set a date for baptism with a few people we are teaching this week so that's going to be epic. Was studying Matthew 13 this week and SHOOT. It is ...
