Elder Dean

This week was great!! We had a lot of amazing lessons. We went to the temple. Had a Zone meeting.  We are teaching this one guy and he lessons have been AMAZING. The Spirit is so strong. Long story short he doesn't feel worthy to even ask God for anything or ask any questions. So we read Alma 36:17-20 and once he read verse 18 he just started bawling and got up gave us a hug. He said now he is going to ask God questions. It was AMAZING to see someone right in front of me have a change of heart and a spiritual experience. The Spirit has like tangible it was AWESOME!!!  I got to go back up to Lehi to see Reagan who I taught get baptized. She is so sweet and was so excited to get baptized and Aldo so nervous. It was so awesome!!!  The temple is amazing as always. I love learning how I can improve and I love just noticing new things about how Christ teaches us. Everything in His restored church always points back to Him and what He has done. My mission has been life changing....

  This week was great. We had a General Authority come for the Zone Conference (one of the leaders of the church) his name is Elder Hugo E. Martinez. It was amazing and was really what I need. Not gonna lie the adjustment is hard but the spirit brought things to my mind which were very helpful. I also got to have a 1on1 interview with Elder Martinez and it was awesome. He gave me some advice. You could just tell by the way you feel when around servants of the Lord that they really are called of God.  This week has been awesome. This area hasn't had much work in it and Elder Tacchi and I have been so blessed to see miracles happen. We have found people who are being prepared by God. There have been cool instances where we were teaching and testifying and I could SEE and FEEL the spirit touch the hearts of those we are with its been awesome.   Well this week has been mega different. I have been released and now am Training a new missionary and also both of us are new to the area. We have been soo busy. The past missionaries didn't leave us with much on the schedule so we've been GRINDING!!!! This area hasn't been worked too much so basically ifs untouched. It's really fun. We are biking and the weather this week has been TRASH but still fun.  My new companion is Elder Tacchi and he is from Bristol, England!!! AND HE HAS AN ACCENT! It's been soooo funny. I don't have too much time so this is a quick one. I am in Orem now covering the Aspen and Northridge Stakes.  It has been a BIG adjustment tbh lowkey kinda hard but I'm getting used to it. Normally I got to see a lot of missionaries and were able to help them but now I'm just focused on my area which is really fun as well just a focus adjustment.  Jesus Christ LIVES, The Book of Mormon is the word of God, Joseph Smith is a prophet of God!!   This week was amazing!!!! ON Monday we had a baptism for Alfredo who we met 3 weeks ago. He's such an awesome kid so funny haha. I got to baptize him and the spirit was so strong!! Always a wonderful experience.  We have a baptism tomorrow for Rob who is so humble and prepared its going to be awesome. Wednesday was a really good day!! This couple that I've been teaching for like 8 months finally got engaged but it's for October but they said they're down to get married civilly earlier than that so she can get baptized. So that was EPIC. Then we set a date for a girl we've been teaching for March 25th she's so excited and her whole family is going to start coming back to church!! It's really awesome to see.  Well I'm getting transferred out of this area sadly. I've been here for a year now and it's literally just home now haha.   What's up everyone... this week ZOOMED by... every week just keeps going by faster and faster daggum. We have a kid we've been teaching getting baptized tonight. It's been so fun teaching him. We knocked on his door 2.5 weeks ago. He's just a funny little kid. We got Inna snowball fight yesterday haha. He like jumped in the back of our truck haha. We had MLC and it was my last one. Kinda sad not gonna lie. We trained on "Stating our purpose" and went over Goals and talked about our WHY. President let me bare my testimony to close off the meeting and that was much appreciated. I'm so sorry for the short email!! Love you all

  This week went by very fast holyyyy... We had zone conferences and they were BARS!!! STRAIGHT HEAT!!! President Evanson talked about certain commandments and he also talked about certain church policies. It strengthened my testimony so much because we talked a lot about how there is certain changes that have been and are being changed constantly and he basically broke down the difference between DOCTRINE, PRINCIPLES, and PRACTICES. It was bars. It just also strengthened my testimony of the necessity of having a modern day prophet. The way certain things were practiced back in Bible times is easily going to be very different how we practice it now. Prophets receive revelation to know how to make necessary adjustments to practices they NEVER change DOCTRINE or PRINCIPLES!!! Man we taught A LOT this week it was EPIC. We were just running from one lesson to another all week it was a blast. I just love how this Gospel applies to EVERYONE. We are teaching people from kids to people who...
